The People’s Bridge Advocacy invites you to our fourth annual evening honouring the neighbours, leaders, and organizations who are building a Saskatoon where everyone belongs.
An Evening of Elegance and Inspiration
The Gala brings together community leaders, organizations, businesses, and partners for a night of recognition and celebration. The evening includes a gourmet dinner designed for conversation and connection, community honours for leaders who embody resilience and service, stories from voices of inspiration, and live entertainment blending culture and rhythm into the story of the night.
This event has sold out every year, with more than 400 guests in attendance!

Nominate a Champion for Change
The Champions for Change Awards recognize individuals, organizations, and community leaders whose dedication, leadership, and service are making a meaningful difference in our communities. We invite community members and organizations to nominate deserving individuals and groups who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service, leadership, inclusion, advocacy, and positive change.
Help us celebrate the people and organizations who strengthen our communities and inspire change.

There are seven award categories. Please review each description and submit a separate nomination for every category you are nominating in.
Emerging Youth Leader
Recognizes an outstanding young person who has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and a commitment to creating positive change within their community. This award celebrates youth ages 18 to 24 who inspire others through volunteerism, advocacy, community engagement, and service.
Cultural Heritage and Language Preservation Champion Award
Honours an individual, organization, or community group that has made significant contributions to preserving, promoting, and celebrating cultural heritage, traditions, and languages. This award recognizes efforts that strengthen cultural identity and foster intercultural understanding.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion Award
Recognizes an individual, organization, or institution that has demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and accessibility. This award honours those who have created meaningful opportunities that foster belonging, respect, and understanding for all. Recipients have made significant contributions toward building more inclusive, equitable, and welcoming communities and workplaces.
Female Leader of the Year Champion Award
Honours an exceptional woman who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, advocacy, mentorship, and service within her profession, organization, or community. This award celebrates women who empower others, break barriers, and create meaningful social impact.
Community Service Champion Award
Honours an individual who has demonstrated outstanding dedication to serving others and improving their community. This award recognizes exceptional volunteerism, leadership, compassion, and commitment to addressing community needs while creating positive and lasting social impact.
Truth and Reconciliation Champion Award
Recognizes an individual, organization, or community leader who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and leadership in advancing Truth and Reconciliation. This award honours those who have made meaningful contributions toward healing, education, relationship-building, and the implementation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. Recipients have shown dedication to fostering understanding, respect, and meaningful partnerships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.
Community Legacy Memorial Champion Award
Presented in memory of an individual whose life and work left a legacy of service, leadership, and community impact. This award honours their enduring contributions while inspiring others to continue their vision, values, and commitment to community-building.
