Seniors Social Hub Club
Our beloved Seniors Social Hub Club is returning at the start of May! Join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Confederation Mall (near the food court) for an engaging and welcoming community experience. This free program offers a variety of physical and cognitive activities designed to enrich the mind, support overall wellness, and foster meaningful social connections. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and be part of a vibrant community. The program is facilitated by Deju Akanji, a Registered Nurse, Certified Fitness & Nutrition Expert, and wellness coach with a passion for supporting healthy, active lifestyles. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. If you or someone you know may be interested, please register by emailing people@peoplebridge.ca with your full name, phone number and/or email address. Beyond the Badge
Join People Bridge Advocacy and the Saskatoon Police Service for an evening of open conversation, connection, and career exploration. Whether you’re curious about policing, interested in civilian or sworn career opportunities, or simply want to ask questions and learn more about the Saskatoon Police Service, this event is a great opportunity to connect with officers, civilian staff, and community members in a welcoming environment. Cultural Cafe- Day of the Dead
Join People Bridge Advocacy and Muyu Intercultural Language & Arts Inc. for our next Cultural Cafe celebrating South American culture and the traditions of the Day of the Dead. Date: September 22, 2026 Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Location: Nutrien Wonderhub, 950 Spadina Crescent E, Saskatoon This month’s Cultural Café will spotlight South America through traditional dance performances, cultural presentations, and a panel discussion exploring the history, meaning, and traditions of the Day of the Dead. It’s a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with community members in a welcoming and inclusive space. Coffee, light refreshments, and snacks will be provided. Sacred Voices- From Reflection to Responsibility and Action
Join People Bridge Advocacy for Sacred Voices, a full-day community event focused on learning, reflection, and connection. This meaningful event brings together Indigenous Elders, Residential School Survivors, Knowledge Keepers, ethnocultural communities, newcomers, youth, and the broader community for a day of reflection, learning, and connection. The program will feature an opening prayer and smudging ceremony, Survivor and Elder teachings, facilitated roundtable discussions, youth dialogue panels, cultural performances, and a closing dance circle. Coffee and lunch will be provided. We are pleased to be partnering with the following organizations: Saskatchewan Intercultural Association International Women of Saskatoon Saskatoon Open Door Society Mennonite Central Committee Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation Everyone is welcome as we come together to honour Survivors, learn from Indigenous voices, and continue the journey toward truth, healing, and reconciliation.
