The People Bridge Advocacy (PBA) is thrilled to announce the successful acquisition of funding from The Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund to launch the “Building Communities to Grow Together” program. This initiative focused on Community Capacity Building (CCB), aims to empower individuals and community-based organizations, providing them with the essential skills and resources required to effectively engage with their communities, navigate intricate systems, access funding and resources, and cultivate strong leadership and governance.

Scheduled for a January 2024 launch, we are in the process of developing a series of workshop modules and online manuals and resources designed to empower both individuals and community-based organizations.

PBA expresses its deepest gratitude to The Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund and United Way Centraide Canada for their invaluable support in making this project a reality. We also extend our appreciation to the esteemed members of the review committee for their meticulous evaluation, ensuring a fair and rigorous selection process.
